WHO WE ARE

The Network for Women’s Lives is a volunteer-based organization formed in 1992 to address the issue of domestic violence in Central Middlesex County. In collaboration with other Central Middlesex organizations and our volunteers, we educate the community about the dynamics and effects of domestic violence and we strengthen the safety net for those in need.

Projects are run by committees of board members and volunteers (some representing local organizations in cooperative efforts) who propose and accomplish appropriate goals for the fiscal year. Committees prepare goals, budget, and success criteria for the year and present to the Board of Directors for approval. They then manage the approved programs and are ultimately responsible for their success.
